His background in disability and mental health services has included supporting people with complex mental health needs and behaviours of concern. He uses calm communication, consistency and appropriate emotional-regulation strategies to help create safe and supportive environments.

He also supports participants to attend appointments, access their community and work towards personal goals, with an emphasis on choice, independence and meaningful participation.
