Experienced Support Worker
Erika is a compassionate, trustworthy, and reliable support worker with seven years’ experience across aged care, disability support, and community access. With a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) and extensive hands-on practice in personal care, mental health, and working with children with disabilities, Erika brings a calm, kind, and person-centred approach to every shift. She loves helping people feel safe, respected, and engaged, whether that’s at home, out in the community, or during appointments.
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing); First Aid & CPR; Dementia Care; Medication competency; Hand Hygiene; Thickened fluids training.
Holds all necessary NDIS checks and clearances (Blue Card, Yellow Card, Police Check) and has completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
Holds a QLD open driver’s license and has a reliable car with comprehensive insurance.
Erika is warm, loyal, and attentive, with a gentle manner that helps people feel comfortable and in control. She enjoys cooking, arts and crafts, the beach, bush walking, gardening, board games, and movies — interests she uses to build rapport and make supports enjoyable and meaningful. As a pet lover (two Airedale Terriers and birds), she’s more than happy to include pet care in her shifts when helpful.
